Lucy Monroe is one of the few authors I know that can create an “ass hero” and make you like him. *g* While reading this book, you can’t help but like and feel for Angelo, a very alpha male, even though he has ulterior motives from the start. Angelo may be out for revenge, but Tara proves to be a strong willed, stubborn woman even with the hurt she has been through. The emotional and physical connections between these two characters are strong and passion filled. Monroe can weave a tale that draws you in, so get ready to sit down and prop your feet up and not get up until you finish this book, because once you start it, you won’t be able to stop until you finish.
