My Thoughts:
Wild Ride is a collection of three hot, passionate and sensually erotic stories by LuAnn McLane.

In the first story “Whiplash” we meet Oliver and Andrea. Oliver is the sexy owner of the adults only Wild Ride Resort. Andrea is a travel writer – one of the best in the business. Oliver wants Andrea to write a review of Wild Ride Resort. He’s sure she’ll fall in love with it and getting a 5 star rating out of her would be no problem, but what he doesn’t know is Andrea’s all set to hate the place. Oliver and Andrea both have pre-conceived ideas about how the other person is before they actually meet. Boy are they in for a “Wild Ride”.

The second story is “Hold On Tight” and here we meet Travis while Krista was introduced in “Whiplash”. Travis is a former prize winning bull rider turned country singer. Krista is the entertainment coordinator at the Wild Ride Resort and has booked Travis for his last concert and a few weeks of rest and relaxation. Travis is the epitome of everything Krista has spent years running from and avoiding. Travis doesn’t usually go for the snooty type, but there’s something about Krista that keeps her on his mind all the time. Travis and Krista are not as different as they seem to think at first and when these two are together the sexual tension is palpable.

The third and last story is “Worth the Wait”. In this story we get to meet two old friends from LuAnn’s previous collection “Hot Summer Nights”. Cole and Jenna are Wild Ride Resort bound. Cole’s sister, Halley, has had to change her honeymoon plans a bit, so Cole helps her out by taking her reservation at the Wild Ride and asking Jenna to join him. The plan is for it to be a week of “you go your way and I’ll go mine”, but as most plans go…nothing happens the way it was supposed to happen.

I absolutely loved LuAnn’s previous collection “Hot Summer Nights”, but I do believe Ms. McLane has outdone herself with “Wild Ride”. The stories are short (obviously) which usually makes it hard for character development, but LuAnn pulled it off and has 4 characters in 3 stories that you come to know and love. Each story has a strong plot and the dialog had me laughing out loud in various parts. LuAnn McLane proved once again why she is an auto buy for me! This book comes highly recommended!
