A BAAAAAAAD Start to the Day

We are getting new counter tops and laminate flooring in our kitchen. First let me just say that we had BEAUTIFUL weather ALL last week and weekend…and yesterday. 80’s, sunny, warm…just beautiful. Last week all the nice weather people said we’d have rain or a chance of rain ALL THIS WEEK starting today.

The flooring was delivered Sunday and even though the counter tops came in last Thursday, the delivery guy that brought the floor stuff said the installer would either bring it or we’d get another delivery straight from Lowes.

Ok, fine.

Yesterday I busted my ass cleaning out my kitchen. Hubby takes out the old counter tops and sink. My kitchen is ready and waiting for the installer. The installer’s wife called hubby this morning to let him know that her husband couldn’t install the counter tops today because Lowes won’t deliver the counter tops in the rain.

Oh, I don’t F**KING THINK SO! So I call the installer’s wife back to see who I had to call at Lowes about the delivery. Because YES, they ARE delivering my shit TODAY! They had FOUR BEAUTIFUL days to bring them. Hell they could’ve brought them when they brought the floor shit, so this is a Lowes f**k up…not the weather and I REFUSE to wait until next week for my delivery since there is a chance of rain every day this week. After I realized I was yelling at her, I apologized, because it’s not her fault Lowes sucks royally to me right now. LOL

She calls me back 10 minutes later to let me know counter tops will be delivered today and her husband will install everything tomorrow.
