The Simple Things

Let me start by saying that I haven’t watched wrestling is a looooong time. When I used to watch, my main reasons for watching were Steve Austin and The Rock. *happy sigh*
Let me also say that my kids don’t watch wrestling much either. I can actually count the times they’ve watched it on one hand over the years. Having said that, my 18 year old niece is in lust (snort) with John Cena. After seeing pictures of him, my DD’s have decided he is the best looking thing to walk this earth.
Me? I think the dude’s body is yummmmy, but his face is, ewww. But that’s just me.
Well, last month I heard WWE RAW was coming to a town near us, so I bought tickets to take my girls on the off chance that John Cena would be there.
Last night 9 of us loaded up and headed to Jackson. I wasn’t in the mood for wrestling and sooooo did NOT want to go, but I’d already bought the tickets, and I didn’t want to disappoint my kids. I sucked it up, got dressed and off we went.
John Cena wasn’t there, but let me tell ya…I’m so glad I didn’t stay home. I only knew a couple of the wrestlers since they were wrestling when I watched religiously, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying myself. Why? Because my kids can boo! and yay! with the best of ‘em!
Each time a different man was introduced, my youngest would lean over and ask me, “Is he bad or good?”. LOL
Last night was the most fun I’ve had in a while. Simply because my kids made it fun.
Gotta love that.

While I’ve never watched wrestling (I know, I know… who hasn’t watched at least once) my husband used to love it. I think he misses it upon occasion, it’s kinda funny.
