Schools

Maybe I shouldn’t have named this “schools” because I’m only gonna bitch about the school that I “know”.

First of all, we had a great school. One of the best schools in this county.

That was before our principal retired and we got a new one. *sigh*

That was 3 years ago. 3 LONG years ago.

And now we have one of the worst schools in the county. People are moving their kids to other schools and I have seriously thought about doing the same.

Why?

Aside from me missing the chance to see her receive her first ever (the first year they could make it) silver club award. She made the silver club all last year and I saw her get it one time. Why? Because I was never informed that she was getting an award…until she came home with it.

Aside from the fact that there’s this kid (boy) in her class that has a MAJOR hitting problem and nothing is ever done about it…despite several trips to the school and talk to the principal. (She makes excuses for it..”Oh he’s getting counseling for his anger”..”Oh he’s hitting others too, but the parents do nothing about it”. And not only does he hit…he’s hit her twice in the throat.

I just don’t like the principal. She doesn’t care about the students. It’s obvious, not only to me, but to other parents as well.

And I’m tired of it.

Oh well, I know I’ll bitch about this some more later on. Watching and worrying over Katrina has taken the “umph” out of my bitch-about-the-school-post.
